PrepNars

Terms of Service

Last updated September 6, 2026

These terms apply when you create a PrepNars account or use the site. They are a practical summary for a small study product — not a substitute for legal counsel.

The service

PrepNars lets you organise study materials, write notes, create practice questions, run tests, and review with a spaced-repetition scheduler. Features may change as the product develops.

Accounts

You must provide a real email you control. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password or linked Google / Apple sign-in secure. We may close an account that is inactive, abusive, or created while registrations are turned off.

New sign-ups (email or first-time Google / Apple) can be disabled by an administrator. Existing accounts can still sign in.

Your content

You keep ownership of materials, notes, questions, and PDFs you add. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content so the product can work — including sending excerpts to OpenRouter when you use AI formatting or question generation. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.

Acceptable use

Do not use PrepNars to:

  • Break the law or infringe someone else's rights
  • Attack, scrape, or overload the service
  • Impersonate another person or share login credentials
  • Upload malware or attempt to access other users' data

Third-party sign-in and email

Google and Apple authenticate you under their own terms. If you choose Hide My Email, Apple's relay address is the address we store. We send transactional email (password reset, optional study reminders) through Resend. See the Privacy Policy for what we collect.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is.” We do not promise uninterrupted availability, exam outcomes, or that AI-generated questions or formatting will be accurate. Study materials are your responsibility.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, PrepNars is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, scores, or study time arising from use of the service.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. Questions: [email protected].
